1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation. Handcrafted and made-to-order knives may require additional lead time — estimated production times will be communicated at checkout or via email.
Orders are not processed on South African public holidays or weekends.
2. Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We ship to all major centres and outlying areas within South Africa.

All domestic orders are shipped via a tracked courier service. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
3. International Shipping
We ship internationally to select destinations. International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes levied by their country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

4. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method.
Free shipping promotions, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout.
5. Knife Export Compliance
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that importing a knife into their country is legal and compliant with local regulations. Gerhard Wiese Knives will not be held liable for items seized or delayed by customs due to local import restrictions.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use this to monitor your shipment via the courier's website.

7. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please refer to our Refund Policy and contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number.
For lost shipments, please contact us and we will liaise with the courier on your behalf. Resolution timelines depend on the courier's investigation process.
